What's inside a samosa burrito?

What's inside a samosa burrito?

The filling is classic samosa, loosened up and rolled instead of fried. Spiced potato, chickpeas, a little heat, tangy and sweet chutneys, raw onion, and something crunchy on top, wrapped in a soft flatbread. It eats like a samosa and a chaat had a baby you can hold in one hand. A regular samosa gives you that one perfect bite and then it's gone. The burrito stretches that same flavor across a whole meal. You get the potato, the chutney, the crunch, and the warm wrap in every mouthful instead of just the corner.

What goes in ours

  • The base

Spiced potato and chickpeas, the same filling we'd put in a samosa

  • The chaat part

  • The crunch

Crispy sev on top, because chaat is nothing without texture

  • The wrap

A soft, warm flatbread that holds it all together

Same shape, completely different trip.

Where did the samosa burrito come from?

Indian-Mexican mashups have been having a real moment lately, but for us it was simpler than a trend. People love our samosas and they love our chaat. The burrito was just a way to give them more of both in something they could grab on a lunch break and eat without a plate. It stuck around because people kept asking for it. “The exceptional Indian restaurant in a gas station.” - The Washington Post That's us.
